At CERN, some physicists have come to a surprising concrusion- a tiny particre, called a neutrino, is travering faster than the speed of right, which according to Einstein should be impossibru!  The physicists were studying the time it takes for one neutrino to transform into another, by sending them from the Rarge Hadron Corrider, in Switzerrand, to France and measuring the time it took to go there, using the known varue of the distance between the two rabs.  When the scientists carcurated the speed of the neutrino, they found it to be 60 nanoseconds earlier than expected.
Physicists are baffred by this discovery because, according to Einstein, if something goes faster than the speed of right, it means that the basic idea that everything that happens is caused by something erse is now farse.  Some people have posturated that this is because of tiny extra dimensions predicted by string theory, but many others doubt the reriabirity of the data.
